These Plan Terms & Conditions ("Plan Terms," "Terms," or "Agreement") govern your purchase, activation, and use of Venio Mobile service plans, including voice, text, data, devices, SIM cards, subscriptions, and add-on features (collectively, the "Plans"). By purchasing, activating, or using any Venio Plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms work together with the Venio Mobile Privacy Policy and EULA, but apply specifically to all Venio Mobile wireless plans and services.
1. Eligibility & Account Requirements
To use a Venio Mobile Plan, you must:
- Create a Venio Mobile account with accurate information
- Be at least the legal age of contract in your jurisdiction
- Use a compatible and non-blacklisted device
- Maintain an active payment method when required
- Agree to Venio Mobile’s Privacy Policy and EULA
Venio may require identity verification when mandated by law or for fraud prevention.
2. Plan Activation
A plan becomes active when:
- Payment is successfully processed
- Your SIM or eSIM is activated on the network
- Your device is successfully registered
Activation may require additional steps such as:
- Device IMEI validation
- Network provisioning
- Verification of personal information
Delays may occur due to factors outside Venio’s control, such as carrier network issues.
3. Billing, Payments & Renewals
3.1 Billing Types
Venio Mobile offers:
- Prepaid Plans: Paid upfront for a fixed duration
- Subscription Plans: Automatically renew on a recurring basis
- Add-Ons: Optional boosts or features
3.2 Payment Terms
You authorize Venio to charge your payment method for:
- Plan fees
- Taxes and regulatory surcharges
- Add-ons or one-time purchases
3.3 Auto-Renewal (for subscription plans)
- Renews automatically at the end of each cycle
- You may turn off auto-renew in your account settings
- Failure to process payment may result in suspension
3.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Venio may:
- Retry the transaction
- Suspend or limit service
- Require updated payment details
4. Network Use & Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Venio Mobile services in compliance with:
- Local telecommunications laws
- Fair usage policies
- Venio Mobile’s Acceptable Use Rules (below)
4.1 Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Use services for telemarketing, spam, or automated dialing
- Circumvent network controls or restrictions
- Abuse unlimited data by excessively high continuous usage
- Share service beyond personal use (unless plan permits hotspot/tethering)
4.2 Fair Usage
To maintain network quality, Venio may:
- Slow data speeds after a plan’s high-speed allotment is used
- Limit hotspot or tethering depending on the plan
- Apply reasonable network management during congestion
5. Data, Speed & Coverage
5.1 Data Speeds
Speeds vary based on:
- Network congestion
- Location
- Device capability
- Signal strength
Venio does not guarantee uninterrupted or fixed-speed service.
5.2 Data Caps
Some plans include:
- High-speed data limits
- Unlimited data with throttling after a threshold
- Separate hotspot or roaming limits
5.3 Coverage
Coverage maps are approximations and not guarantees. Actual service may vary due to:
- Terrain
- Weather
- Building structures
- Partner network limitations
6. Roaming
Roaming availability depends on your plan.
6.1 Domestic Roaming
May be available at:
- Reduced speeds
- Limited data amounts
6.2 International Roaming
Where available, rates may include:
- Additional charges
- Different data caps
- Limited voice or text functionality
Venio is not responsible for roaming charges incurred due to device settings or user error.
7. Devices, SIM & eSIM
7.1 Device Compatibility
Your device must be:
- Unlocked
- Compatible with Venio’s network technology
- Free from blacklist or fraud restrictions
7.2 SIM Card / eSIM
- SIM/eSIM remains property of Venio
- Venio may restrict SIM use for fraud prevention
- Fees may apply for replacement SIMs
8. Plan Changes, Suspension & Termination
8.1 Plan Changes by User
Users may upgrade or downgrade a plan depending on availability. Some changes may:
- Take effect immediately
- Apply to the next billing cycle
- Require proration or additional charges
8.2 Suspension or Termination by Venio
Venio may suspend or terminate service for:
- Fraud or suspected fraud
- Abuse of network resources
- Non-payment
- Violation of these Plan Terms
- Regulatory or legal requirements
8.3 Cancellation by User
You may cancel anytime through your account. Refund eligibility depends on:
- Plan type
- Usage levels
- Promotional terms
Prepaid plans are generally not refundable.
9. Refunds & Credits
Refunds may be issued only when required by law or under specific promotional guarantees.
No refunds are issued for:
- Partially used plan cycles
- Unused data or add-ons
- Downgrade requests during active cycles
10. Limitations of Service
Venio does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted service
- Specific speeds or latency
- Compatibility with all devices
- Availability in all geographic areas
Service interruptions may occur due to:
- Network maintenance
- Outages from carrier partners
- Acts of nature or unforeseen events
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Venio is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, income, or business
- Loss of data or device damage
- Service interruptions or outages
- Unauthorized access to your account
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for your plan in the past 30 days.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Venio and its affiliates from any claims arising out of:
- Your misuse of the service
- Violation of these Terms
- Violation of applicable laws
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Venio Mobile operates. Disputes shall be resolved through:
- Venio’s internal support channels
- Arbitration or small-claims court, where applicable
14. Changes to Plan Terms
Venio may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with a revised Effective Date.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
